Digital Discovery™ is a device that combines a logic state analyzer with a protocol analysis function and a test pattern generator. It was developed for engineers testing various types of digital systems. Digital Discovery is supported by the free WaveForms software (3.5.4 or later) and can be configured as any of the following instruments:
- 24-channel digital logic state analyzer (1.2...3.3 V CMOS, up to 800 MS/s (with High Speed adapter))
- 16-channel pattern generator (1.2...3.3 V CMOS, 100 MS/s)
- 16-channel virtual digital I/O, including buttons, switches and LEDs - ideal for logic training applications
- Programmable 1.2...3.3V/100mA power supply. The same voltage supplies the input buffers of the logic state analyzer and the input/output buffers of the pattern generator to maintain logic level compatibility with the circuit under test.
- Digital bus analyzers (SPI, I²C, UART, I2S, CAN, parallel).
