Descriere
Compact DC / AC converter MEAN WELL NTS-450 with a rated power of 450W and real sine wave (true sine, THD> 3%) offers the user a configurable output voltage with values: 200/220/230 / 240VAC for models NTS-450-212, NTS-450-224, NTS-450-248. The selection of the output voltage and frequency is easy with the use of a switch on the housing. The device can be powered by 12/24 / 48VDC with current values respectively: 50/25 / 14A. The converter works with both lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries.
The device is protected against excessive temperature, short circuit and overload. In order to minimize the risk of excessive battery discharge, the NTS-450 converter is equipped with an alarm. After the alarm is triggered and the voltage drops further, the device will turn off, protecting the battery against accidental discharge.
It is also possible to temporarily overload the converter: 517.5W (3 min.), 675W (10 s), 900W (0.6 s). This functionality allows you to connect a device with a higher inrush current (e.g. electric tools).
The MEAN WELL NTS-450 converter can be used wherever there is no access to the power grid, e.g.
- Use in home off-grid panels. For example, on a plot, a summer house
- Application with caravans and yachts for the conversion of energy from batteries
- Application on construction sites: e.g. for battery operation of mast floodlights or electric tools
- Backup of power, e.g. emergency lighting, motors
